I recently purchased what I believe is a TAO TAO 125 for my son who weighs only about 55 lbs. We went on our first ride today and he was unable to climb a hill of about 25 degrees. I stopped and opened the throttle limiter more, and more, and more until he had full throttle.... still no go! I got him off the machine and started it myself and walked along side. I ended up having to run the engine and push the thing up the hill. This was not a long hill, maybe 7-10 total yards of 25 degree slope. Is that normal. With a running start it will make it up the hill but if he has the governor on it will not build up enough speed to make it. What gives?
