in need of assistance. I have a 2007 kandi 250cc atv and I am having problems figuring the timing out. any little help would be greatly apprectiated.

hi I'm new to atvs but I recently bough a 110CC atv peace motorsport from my friend who has had it for 5 years for $80 some kid in our naborhood stole the keys and hid them so we tried to hot wire it we hooked up the 4 wire of the ignition and stared it smoke came from the top of the wires i bough a new ignition but it still wont start what should i do

Hi. I'm new here and have a question. I bought a ckt125 (I believe, I'm at work and can't see it at the moment ) the at is new. I put front wheels on and when I spin them there seems to be a drag and at a certain point in the revolution there's a light grinding sound. Could this be the drum brakes needing adjustment or what do you think. I put the brake assembly on correct, followed by the wheel, stainless ring, washer, castle nut and coder pin. I went finger tight on castle nut. Any help is appreciated. Ps ,I'm no mechanic so I may need sthingy fed a bit. Thanks in advance.

I have a 150cc tao tao that is not getting fire to the spark plug. We just rewired the entire at. Any suggestions?

I have a 50cc atv, that is very hard to start. When it start, it idle very fast, and slow down, then die. It have 140 psi of compression, both valve are at 0.004",brand new carb, new gaz filter, new spark plug. I have tried a lot of adjustment on the carb. I have looked at the timing, and found something strange. The flywheel is at the "T" position, and the cam gear is 1/2 chain link after the notch. If I move it 1 tooth, it's 1/2 chain link before the notch. I can't reach the center of the line. Sorry for thant long post, and for my bad english too. Hope someone could help.

When I bought it the headlights were removed, I want to buy new, I know that they are 3 wire connectors. My questions are, what wattage is best or does it even matter as long as they are 12v. I don't really want the Cat Eye type that came on it. Some of the lights I'm thinking about buying are 2 wire, can I make the 2 wire lights work with the stock 3 wire connectors and they can turn on and off with the stock switch? The picture is not the actual ATV but it is the same. Pics coming soon

I have a 2008 taotao 250-D. I want to put an auto drive chain tensioner on it but the swing arm is not preped for doing that. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

There are two bolts on the bottom of the engine. One is the oil drain, what is the other bolt for and how does it go back in if it gets taken out. Does the rubber piece go back in before the spring or the opposite, spring then rubber piece then bolt. Thank you |
