This photo was taken atop of Cougar Peak in the forest. Here we are above the timber line. We did a loop trail up to black Canyon Saddle then up a rock trail to the Peak. Elk and bear sign everywhere but I guess we scared them off with our rigs,but a great Bald Eagle was screaching at us for a long time. From this peak you can see Canada to the North, Spokane Washington to the west, the great Saint Joe river forest to the south and This view is of the Coeur D' Alene river down in the canyon with Montana to the East.
