Krueger,
Welcome to the club. Sorry to hear your having problems.
My 2008 HiBird is geared kind of high. Your not just stalling it out are you? I know dumb question but I had to ask.
I need some more info to try and help you. Will it start and idle? Did you run it at idle for 30 or so min. to melt the crap they put in the carb to protect the float during shipping? Can you get some one to help get you going the first time maybe a push start? Post a time when you will be on and we can try to get together two heads are better than one.
Good Luck Larry

Good Luck Larry from what i understand is that its possible running to lean and i need it to give gas once in gear. i will send you i video file i made on what i am doing... i have a 72 honda minibike where i have to just throttle down to switch gears... so this is all new to me on the ATV. and as well it seems that they put the screw to adjust mixer is a place where you reall can't get to .. i will be getting a new batter tomorrow, for some reason its not getting enough juice to turn over....

Well i tried to do what u suggested and give t some gas while releasing the clutch to no luck, once i did that and gave gas it jumped and seemed to lock up. I am lost i should of just went with a automatic.. i will be taking the atv to a honda dealer this weekend so he can check it out and maybe figure out what is going on... thanks for the help once again. will keep you posted on the results

Well finally i got it to work, was able to drive it which i am very happy... now my other issue is that i bought a new battery today and it started up no probelms. once i shut it down and tried to start up again i pressed the starter and i noticed my newutral light and my back light started to shutter on and off when it tried to start, the started just boggs , i actually have to jump the battery to gie it more juice, so i am think either the starter is messed up or there s some loose wiring, which i will be checking tomorrow.. thanks again for the help with getting me to move..
