Alot of ATV's , UTV's, Cars and trucks come with ball joints that do not have grease zeeks in them. My SUNL 200cc has this type of ball joint. My suspension and steering were getting a little sticky. Well I talked to a few machanic buddies of mine and they had a solution. You can only do it upto 2 times, unless you can find your original puncher hole. What you can do is get a Greasing Needle for the end of your Grease Gun. They cost about $5 US at your local Auto Parts House. I had someone help me, my 7 year old grandson. First locate all the rubber boots that are covering the area of your suspension ball joints and stearing system. Gentle pierce the boot with the needle, holding it in place so that it doesn't tear this dryed out rubber. Now give some gentle pumps of the grease gun. Do not just start pumping away, you don't want to blow them out or do anymore damage to them that they already have. The Suspension ones took about 2 to 3 pumps and the Stearing ones took only 1. I used a full size hand held gun. Not an air gun type! Clean any excess grease that comes out. Now you will find that some of your boots are cracked and possibly have tears in them. This is normal for these boots on Chinese machines and other older machines. Thats why new machines have guards to protect these suspension parts from trail hazards! After I was done I of course turned my tires from side to side and bounced my rigg as best I could to start getting grease up into the joints. After a short ride they will free up alot more. Ball jpints ect., need to be replaced once a year if riding your rig hard and every 3 to 4 years if you are an easy go'er like me that does slow trail riding in the Mountians. My riggs are 2007's and at the end of this season and over the winter I will change my joints for the first time. There are video's on U-TUBE that give you an idea on how to do yours, all rigs are different. The important thing is to keep grease in there!!!! Also shop around for your joints, Pro bike shops and online parts guy's may cost more or less then your industrial local suppy house. Ball joints are used for everything out there. Like my bearings I found my bearings at a big discount at the industrial supply house. Alot of times they give free shipping if you ask! I am at Facebook ATVSUNLSpokane message that you are from Pro Boards!
