Hello all. I am working on this Quad I was given and it needs a top end rebuild. I am having a heck of a time finding information on the head on this thing. It is a GY6 !P57QMJ engine but has the cam chain that is 90 link. So hard to find the right rebuild kit for it that I am considering just replacing the entire engine with on that will bolt right in. Mount distance is 11.5 inches. The quad has the stick gear selector F N R. These GY6 engines I am finding have just the shaft coming out and no gear selector. Is this something I have to remove from the old one and put on the new one? I know the 150GY6 is used for scooters that have the rear wheel mounted directly to that output shaft with no reverse. Or..Anyone have any ideas on an engine I could relatively easily swap in here?? Thanks, and thanks for welcoming me to your forum.
