My daughter has been riding a power wheels 4 wheeler for quite some time. When she became bored with the thing, I modified it by installing bigger motors and more voltage. It was faster then anything like it around. Eventually she started becoming bored with that. So naturally the next step would be a real atv. I picked up a small 110cc quad that was in bad shape for a good price and then got busy rebuilding the entire thing. After a few month of collecting parts, its finally finished and it's pretty fast for what it is and much much faster then the the power wheels she had. Speed along with the rubber tires makes it a whole different machine then the plastic one she was riding. She rolled it over the other day. Turned while going to fast and didnt lean. She only got some scrapes. Shes fine. My question is besides the limiting screw on the thumb throttle assembly, is there another way to slow this thing down more. The limiting screw doesnt do much. I am mechanically inclined so any non basic remedies to this wouldnt be a problem. Any suggestions would be greatly thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings.
