Hi guys,
Just wanted to share a little something I built recently.
You can see its just an old B&S 5.5 HP engine and a delco alternator. It runs about 5 hours on a gallon of gas. At that rate it has completely recharged our battery bank. Which at this time consists of 6 6 Volt golf cart batteries. Later this week or This weekend I plan to install a larger 5000 Watt inverter and finish hooking up the 16 12 Volt batteries I have. We will then have somewhat regular power. It should meet most of our needs.
