Son's 110cc Sunl, appears to be starving for fuel. Has to run around with the chole fully-on regardless of how warm. Lack of power, etc. Pulled the fuel hose off carb and its gushing out, so not a filter/supply prob. Confirmed choke is actually working butterfly correctly. Removed carb and tipped over and fuel came gushing out bowl tube. So don't think it's a needle valve issue. Haven't pulled the carb totally off and disassembled yet (maybe this weekend). I intend to disassemble and look for obvious blockages. Any other hints?

Stonewallfarms,
The idle jet is clogged. These carbs have two jets in them. One for idle and one high speed. The idle jet is the tiny one. Just remove the carb and then take it apart. Before using any cleaners on it make sure you have all the rubber/plastic parts out or off. Carb cleaner will melt them. Most likely you will need to remove the jets with a flat blade screwdriver then using a small wire you can clean the passage out. This hole for the idle circuit is tiny and clogs up easy. I always run all the gas out of the carb by running the engine with the fuel switched off until it quits. Since I have been doing that I haven't had any more problems.
Good Luck. Larry

Hello I'm new here. For BIGGKIDD. I have a problem with a 110cc TAO. Starts well and idles well, even after 5 minutes. Dies when throttle is applied. Any Ideas?

you can buy a new carb kit on ebay for $15... so much easier to just replace with a new carb than trying to clean jets.. plus, mine didn't have a way to open the carb to clean the jets.. which is why I found they are super cheap to just buy a new one... hope that helps!
