On most of these Chinese quads, you can push start them. Turn key on, make sure kill switch is in run position, and roll it down a hill in neutral, then bump it into gear... my 6 year old thinks that’s the best part of riding!

Trouble shoot my starter and it crank so can I say it my handle bars button won't work

I just bought a small tao 125 atv. it runs great but gas keeps leaking through the bottom tube on the carburetor. Also, the start switch on the handle bar will not even turn the starter. It's like it isn't making a connection. I've disassembled it and it looks like everything is hooked up. I've checked the wires and none of them are loose or disconnected. I've applied the parking brake and locked it in but still will not crank with handle button. It only cranks with the remote. Can anyone help? Thanks, Elvis |

Its because the button requires the brake be pressed
