Chinese 125 atv wont crank

I can't get my four wheeler to crank with the push button on the handle bar.

It looks like everything is hooked up and connected.

[color=Yellow]Is there a safety feature that I need to check on.

What's this about the disc brake in an earlier thread?[/color]

I need help. This is a Christmas present for my son.

I didn't get any assembly instructions or illustrations with the atv. I just had to figure it out my self.

Elvis...When I got my Tao Tao, it would only start by remote start only ( pressing the "lightning bolt" button twice on the remote)... then I called the dealer and found out you have to press down on the foot brake AND pull in (firmly) on the hand brake (make sure manual kill switch is in "run" mode) and with both brakes depressed, press ignition button...if that doesnt work, try pressing the "unlock" button on the remote, and repeat the step above
